I am really disappointed to see simple 2d tables still are not reality...
the issue probably is related to the original PHASE #3...

Ok.
One is a bit disappointed seeing various projects to fail to deliver
according to their original timelines... seems like there is not enough
money in? Do you need more developers to perform better?

Hi there,
how is the development of phase #3 (lists) going? Is it due to soon?
Sub-question: I guess sorting feature in lists will be implemented in

this is exactly why I do not want to do. we should validate inputs, not

Contrats! Anyways, I still miss various data types to be available for
properties - unavailability of these greatly hinders the expansion of
wikidata database. Any plans on how fast new (and comprehensive) data types
will be introduced to wikidata.org?

Hi all,
thanks for the feedback. Basically, I think we have 2 problems to solve in
multiple languages:
- categories
- image/file description (= name + description)
I think these both could be independent entries in WikiData database.
I started a discussion on Commons Village pump -

Ok, what about a dataset? Sure set of cc-0 nodes implies cc-0 dataset in
math, but in text this is not valid any more as words are not copyrightable
but a sentence is?

Hi there,
did anyone think of possible copyright restrictions on the use of
external data within wikidata? I am not sure common public sources of
data are usable right away... seems like copyright works the same with
data as with any other "work"... Sure, many organizations throw data
