Dear colleagues from Trinidad and Tobago,
a warm welcome to our WE community! I'm a physics and math teacher
from Germany working collaboratively with Ugandan teachers on an
innovation of Ugandan physics teaching. Please have a kind look at our
site:
Hi all,
for some of you it will be interesting to hear that the European

I've taken a look at your naturalmath.com website. Attractive layout
and a creative idea. Appealing!
As you may have seen, I'm math teacher and know
Dear WikiEducators,
Celebration! SUPRA is free!
The University of Munich/Germany (LMU) has released about 1000 pages
of high quality materials for elementary education in physics (and
local history) under the CC-BY license. See my post of July 2, 2008:
Hi Peter,
your group is pretty closed, I can't even see the posts.
Right now, I have 36 high school wiki newbies on WE, and maybe some of
them would like to join in, but they'd like to see what's going on

Hi Eric,

Would you please tell me the steps to be done to upload a picture from
Wikimedia Commons directly to WE?
This seems to me a good shortcut to make pages interesting!
Thanks,

Hi all,
hi Leo, Seth
Thanks for your feedbacks! The problem with volunteers is, that they
don't have them. My proposal to engage their own students for
wikifying was rejected, because working in a wiki is not what they
teach at this department. It is even new to the teachers themselves.

Hi friends,
the University of Munich (LMU), department for the didactics of
physics, plans to get their materials for primary education on-line on
WE. According to their own estimations, the size is about 1000 pages.
The project is called SUPRA, and contains lesson plans and handouts
Hi all,
may I add some critical thoughts to the upcoming WE edit count sports?
1) The number of edits an author reaches depends much on his editing
habits. Some of my students f. ex. always press the save-button for
every even minor change, while I prefer to first get the edit finished
