Assuming that this hasn't already been done
Why not contact the founder of the Khan Academy directly, and ask if an
additional license (free of the NC restriction) can be granted to the
WikiEducator community?
Of course - that's the world - but the emphasis in our community really,
Jim is doing some great work on Math resources.
He has a question that I'm hoping someone else can answer better than I can.

gathered. What is missing in my understanding is, I don't understand the
exact criteria for OERs. Namely, do the resources have to be in the public
domain to be considered an OER or is a creative commons copyright
