Leigh,
The front page is editable -- apart from the contact us section all
content on the front page is produced from templates which are openly
editable. Direct edits on the front page are protected. On rare
occasions new WikiEducators have inadvertently started practising on the
home page
It would be great if our community could set up a journalism group to help
out with sourcing WE news for the front page and managing this. Till now,
I've pretty much been doing this on my own -- without much help.
Hmm, we could send in our usual press releases if you like. Not all of them
Good Idea Leigh. I would have voted for it if i were sure that newbies
won't use it as sandbox as we all are concerned about it. I do agree
on the flip side that according to WE traditions editing should be

Think of it like a press conference area maybe, or a talk back radio show,
or recordings of significant speeches of lectures.. and a place where local

Hey Minhaaj
We're a community -- it's not my decision smile. That said, I do think
a User page Expo is a great idea. Set up a page for WikiEducators to
decide on the criteria for qualifying as a Featured User Page and the
process for evaluating user pages. We can link successful candidates

Ok, this is my start for the community. I invite everyone to design
rules for the competition, procedures and selection for the best page.
Feel free to edit it the way you want. I better run and get my user
page tweaked. runs
