A jury for every tedious speedy deletion and page protection would result in an
impractically-large workload. In theory a very good idea though; could maybe be
implemented for some things, with basic maintenance still left to sysops or an

As of today, I'm working as a contractor at Wikimedia Foundation,
helping out with several things, one of which being the Flagged Revs
rollout.
Welcome Rob. Everybody is eager to get FlaggedRevs finished and
installed, so the speedier the work gets completed the better.

I archived the original post without reply because the message being
forwarded was so full of indefinite terms that I wasn't sure exactly
what was being said. I do hope that the WMF is not growing fond of
waffly terminology.

What I discovered was that Wikipedia trumps Britanncia all the time because
its articles are in more depth and provide better references. And the site
design means that Wikipedia is easily navigable and focuses on the content,
whereas Britannica’s site assaults the eyes with distractions.

know there are hundreds of disputes a week. They just don't have the
awareness AC doesn't solve 99% of them :)
The argument stands: the Daily Mail are printing gross inaccuracies, and
it's harming our public image.
