If the new image is exactly the same as the one we had, it makes sense to delete one, yes. And usually you would remove the last one to be uploaded. For instance some people may be using of the images with the old name. We could delete them but place a redirect to the other copy, that seems a good

Hi Jernej, Based on what you describe, this is a complex issue indeed, and an unfortunate intersection of circumstances. I don't think there is a perfect solution. I don't see a good reasoning to accept the new image unless somehow you can argue that the newer version is better because of either

Dear all, we came across an interesting issue. Apparently, the Slovene campain attracted an author whose freely licensed pictures were transferred from Flickr almost a year ago by a long-time user. Naturally, I'd like to keep the new pictures which were uploaded in good faith, so that the
