Micheal just extended an invitation to the community. What is so promotional
about this?I don't think he has committed any crime to be removed from the mail
list. It will have been an unfair judgement to take such a decision.

Mr Rexford, maybe you should read this again to loosen your grip on the
iron bar. Michael, you could have done better. Its a Big No No to spam here.
I was hoping we(Wikimedia) could leverage the event to interact with
these people and get at the very least some content for articles on online

It'll be best caution begins with action now.

Asaf: These are making it through because senders are part of the list.
These are not messages from non-list-members.
All: Any kind of these type of promotional messages comes through the list,
the user will be deleted without any further discussion, beginning with
Michael Mettle-Nunoo.
Thanks
Rexford i don't think we should rush in removing anyone from the list now.
I believe we have all learnt from Michael's mistake and w'll hope it
doesn't happen again.
So the caution i presume will take place in the future.

Maybe it might be great for the sender to customize whatever message it is
for this list and talk through the value for Wikimedia or this user group
next time.
Asaf, will that work?
