I think there is an assumption that it is needed and indeed welcomed. From
my two experiences it has been very valuable and,I would argue, in an
organisation like ours essential for developing good working relationships
and practices.

Hong Kong, so I'll just put this out there and say that Wikimedia Australia
will not be in a position to host this event in 2014.
