I join the pain of her loved ones and her family. Rest in peace. At a time
like this, it's hard because it was one of us.I did not know him but it's
always a bad news to know the death of a Wikimedian colleague. Cancer has
overwhelmed him but we have to try to carry on the Wikimedia projects for
those who like him despite the disease have continued to believe in this
project ... the important thing is that this is not forgotten and each of
us when he does a Edit an action as an administrator ... must think of him
to take him to the heart in order to continue to make one of his passions
live, that is, Wikipedia. The wiki is that there is a huge variety of
people of different religion, but we all hope it can rest in peace.
Everyone will think to remember it differently but the important thing is
to help each one as he succeeds his loved ones. Death can not be stopped
but you can try to increase the chances of defeating cancer for example by
supporting cancer research and raising awareness.

Thank you for sharing this news, Minh.

I always struggle with what to say, if anything, when we lose one of our
colleagues. Each of us has limited time in our one life, and sometimes I
find it helpful to be reminded that our work of sharing the world's
knowledge is for everyone including those who come after us. We are
creating a multi-generational project of humanity's knowledge. I like to
think that all of us who contribute in the spirit of the projects have
portions of ourselves that will live on in Wikimedia, passed on from
generation to generation.
