The deadline to register for the Wikimedia Summit 2019 is in three
days, on Monday, December 17!

If you want to be part of the event as a representative of your
affiliate and haven’t registered yet, do not miss this last chance to
sign up via the registration form [1]. The link to the registration

Dear Wikimedians,

If you wish to be part of the Wikimedia Summit 2019 [1] and you have
not yet registered, please be reminded that registration closes on
Monday, December 17, 2018. You can sign up using the link below [2].

== Eligibility criteria ==
Please have the eligibility criteria [3] for participating in the
Wikimedia Summit in mind and make sure that your affiliate is marked
as ready to register before filling out the registration form.
Chapters, Thematic Organizations and User Groups must have shown signs
of recent activity, be up-to-date on their reporting [4] and need to
have have been officially recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation
before January 1, 2018 in order to attend the Wikimedia Summit.

It’s all set and you have been selected to represent your affiliate?
Then please proceed with submitting the registration form [5].

== Office Hour ==
We already had two office hours some time ago where people asked
specific questions on the Wikimedia Summit, like visa procedures,
eligibility criteria, program design, etc.

We would be happy to organize another office hour, but we are a bit
unsure, if there’s interest to enjoy another one. So please answer
(briefly) directly to wmsum...@wikimedia.de if you are interested in
another office hour that could take place before December 20.

Dear Wikimedians,

Thanks to those of you who have already registered for the Wikimedia
Summit 2019 – we are very excited to host the event from March 29 to
March 31 2019 in Berlin!

== Registration information ==
You have not registered yet? Your affiliation is eligible [1] to
attend the event and you have been selected to represent your
affiliation in Berlin? Then please be kindly reminded to register by
Monday, December 17, 2018. To register for the Wikimedia Summit,
please find the link to the registration form below. [2]

== Visa information ==
Please visit the website of the Department of Foreign Affairs in
Berlin [3] to find out whether you need a visa for travelling to
Germany. We strongly advise all those of you who need a visa to
register by November 19, 2018. We would like to support you as best as
possible with your visa! As visa formalities can be long and
time-consuming, registering by November 19 will not only allow us to
prepare all documents needed for the visa application in a timely
manner, but starting with the application at an early stage can
cushion unforseen long processing times or problems.

Dear Wikimedians,

Thanks to those of you who have already registered for the Wikimedia
Conference 2018 – we are already very excited to host the conference
from April 20 to April 22, 2018 in Berlin!

== Registration information ==

You have not registered for the conference yet? Your affiliation is
eligible [1] to attend the conference and you have been selected to
represent your affiliation in Berlin? Then please be kindly reminded
to register until Monday, January 15, 2018. To register for the
conference, please find the link to the registration form below. [2]

== Holiday break of the organizing team ==

In view of the upcoming holidays, we would like to inform you that the
WMCON18 organizing team will be out of the office from December 22,
2017 until January 3, 2018.

If you need assistance or have any questions, we recommend you to
contact us before December 22. Otherwise, we will respond to your
emails as soon as possible upon our return.

== Visa information ==

We strongly advise all those of you who need a visa to register until
Monday, December 18, 2017.

We will do our best to send the documents (letter of invitation,
foreign travel health insurance, copy of registration of association
of WMDE) by December 22, 2017, which are needed for the visa
application process, to everyone, who registers until Monday, December
18, 2017. Should you register after this date, we will prepare and
send the documents to you beginning of January.
