This past weekend I took time offline to go bicycling
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cycling>, including bicycling on part
of the Burke-Gilman
Trail <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burke-Gilman_Trail>. There are photos
of the trail and surrounding scenery on Commons
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Burke-Gilman_Trail>, and there
is also a Wikidata item for the trail
<https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q4998920>.

I think that time offline for reflection was good. I had in-person
conversations that helped me to process recent events on English Wikipedia.

This recent Picture of the Day on Commons
<https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:%D0%AF%D0%BD%D0%B2%D0%B0%D1%80%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B5_%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%B1%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B6%D1%8C%D0%B5_%D0%AF%D0%BF%D0%BE%D0%BD%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%B3%D0%BE_%D0%BC%D0%BE%D1%80%D1%8F_%D0%B2_%D0%A5%D0%B0%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%BD%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%BE%D0%BC_%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%B9%D0%BE%D0%BD%D0%B5.jpg>
appeals to me. Quoting from the file description page: "Sunrise on the Sea
of Japan <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_of_Japan>. The two islands
visible from distance are Sibiryakov Island (right)
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sibiryakov_Island_(Primorsky_Krai)> and
Antipenko Island (left). The photo was taken south of Slavyanka
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slavyanka,_Primorsky_Krai>, Khasansky
District of Primorsky Krai, Russia."

What's making you happy this week? You are welcome to comment in any
