Not a playground, but related to kids and play: One of my dear friends,
Kathy Wilder, is the ED at Camp Stevens
, which serves the San Diego
area.  She is possibly the kindest human I have ever met, and strongly
oriented toward creating a social-equity-oriented camp environment for
kids.  Maybe a resource worth checking into!
