I cannot attend. I provided some information below, including some excepts that should provide for at least a basic post with a few related links.
I am unable to attend the Oakland Wiki local history editathon on Sunday. I am unaware of a wikipage for the Intertribal Friendship House in Oakland California, also known as ifhurbanrez, Urban Rez. It is a historical location in Oakland, of regional importance, in my opinion, to Native Americans. The article below says Oakland Intertribal Friendship House, or Urban Rez, is one of the oldest in the United States, and I believe it may be also the oldest in California. I am NOT able to attend the Oakland Wiki local history editathon this Sunday, but would hope that some information may be included about the Oakland Intertribal Friendship House.
