Ni!

Thank you so much Barry,

For all that you've shared with us through your discrete, open and
brilliant leadership of the Global Development Team. I feel special
admiration for the way you handled the Grants program and its Advisory
Committee, and the interface with Brazil, including the hiring of
WMF's first employees here (which I'll never stop criticizing, so it
can be even better in the future! hahaha).

It should also be told and remembered that your efforts, with the
Global Development team, to get to the point where the WMF can make
together with the communities involved some very tough decisions, have
shaped for the better the Wikimedia Movement, now and in the long
term.

We have just learned that our way forward is going to be a bit more
uncertain, but, with you as a volunteer member of the movement, I am
sure it will be no less joyous, perhaps even more!

All the best to you, your future, and those you care for!
And see you soon =)

Um grande abraço,

ale
