Hoi, I have written a blog post about the Indian events for International Women's Day [1]. You may know me well enough that I like you to consider to use Wikidata. Given that you will be writing in many languages and it is not obvious that the English language article will be created first, it helps when there is a list that everybody can connect to. I have created items for everyone mentioned on the project page on the en.wp [2]. When you write an article in any language, it is just a matter of adding a link to the article. For your information, currently there are 385 women known as being citizens of India (remember this is modern India). Hi, There is an old bug in bugzilla which requests single letter prefix 'c' as a redirect to Wikimedia Commons (bug 4676 [1]), but c: is already configured as a namespace alias for Category namespace (??) in Hindi Wikipedia (bug 29940 [2]). I don't know the popularity of use of c: in Hindi Wikipedia, but hope it is ignorable (bug is actually one of the /Mayur Bug/s :-)). I hope Hindi community will support bug 4676, which help almost every Wikimedia wikis in every supported languages.
