Thank you for the link. I would take a look at it. If it's compilable
under GNU/Linux it might be a good tool for unicode OCR usage in
general use too. There aren't any or many effective tools who do good
open-source OCR for unicode. Will try it out. Thank you again.

Not sure of the OCR the participants worked on but Srinivasan's project git
is here[1] and the license[2] (which is in GNU GPL v.2—and it is an amazing
solution for many Wikisourcers. :)).
