No, Wikipedia is not non-commercial in this regard. It's a very
frequent misunderstanding, though - the first article i created in the
English Wikipedia was speedily deleted because of this ;)

In short, materials brought into Wikipedia must be free for usage
commercially, too. The full explanation is here:

Wikipedia use is non-commercial, but since it is open for reuse, the reuse
need not be necessarily non-commercial.

In that case please add Sidhanta font to Sanskrit wikipedia, it has most
feature rich font for Sanskrit. (Sanskrit 2003 is better in display)

Also it is clearly stated that it can be used as a web font.

*Siddhnata font software (including font variations and Vaidika IME) is
published under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0
Unported License . Its
Latin and Cyrillic glyph sets (based on DejaVu font can be used according
to free license
. Siddhanta

better than me to correct recent problems with Lohit and Utkal as webfonts
and occupied with other work as well, Thanks Srikanth, but bot being able

launched, I think a couple of other fonts will soon be candidates to be
used for Devanagari based WPs.
