Just to summarize, we had a wonderful discussion with English and Indic Wikipedians (from 6 Indic languages - as, bn, ml, ne,or and ta) regarding the different ways in which they have been using social media platforms so far to spread awareness about their Wiki projects. We also spoke about how one can engage new editors, how language on Facebook groups differs, the challenges people have been facing so far. The real challenge would be to retain these editors and motivate them to edit based on their interest. Will keep you updated as we try more things. Let's keep this conversation going and discuss more regularly on how each group is progressing. I'd be happy to help. Please don't hesitate to email me.
