An idea / proposal for the next Wiki meetups:
There has been lot of talk. So would like to see some action :)
Can we decide a Sunday in next month and call for meetups in all cities at
the same time? This time can be a bit extended the usual duration. Say, 4-6
hours?

Based on Erik's Indic Wiki stats, I did an analysis for reach of Indic
Wikipedias.
Wikis having at least 1000 views an hour and 1 Million population were taken
for this.
Page views per article per hour indicates the overall usefulness of
articles.
Page views per million speakers indicates
I think they use it in the sense Wikipedia = Encyclopedia (they are covering
India related news). Like Xerox machine became synonymous with photo
copying.
People might even mistake any wiki for Wikimedia projects. Probably there
are 100s of sites like this all over the world.

Sometime before, we used the word meanings from a technical glossary
provided by Tamil Virtual University for the Tamil Wiktionary project. Our
rational is that only the presentation can be copyrighted and not the word
or meaning. If the word or meaning itself is copyrighted, then there is no

Ravi, while the idea of having English editors help out on Indic wikis
sounds good, it isn't feasible. Most Indic editors distrust us English
editors and remain aloof from us.

Initially, I tried uploading multiple images in the web and abandoned it.
