hi,

Some members on list had expressed interest in participating in the Wiki Loves
Public Art contest -
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Public_Art_2013.[1][2]

Niraj Suryawanshi asked and clarified on the Wiki Loves Monuments list that
this contest was indeed open to countries outside Europe.[3] To kick things
off, I have started a WLPA 2013 RfC page on Wikimedia India chapter wiki.
Wikimedians in India interested in participating in this are requested to leave
their comments on India's participation in this competition. Also, requesting
volunteers to help lead this effort in India are welcome can also put their
names in the volunteer section on the RfC page.

The RfC route asking for comments before doing events is experimental at this
stage. So, please bear with me on that one!

warm regards,
Pradeep
