Dear All, I'm happy to share with you that '22nd Cochrane Colloquium', an annual celebration of Cochrane Collaboration is going to take place in Hyderabad this year. Cochrane Collaboration is an independent, non-for profit, international organisation. It helps provide evidence-based, relevant, systematic, up-to-date reviews to people on health which is widely referred by healthcare-professionals, patients and general public.[1]
Last year in the Colloquium, there were nearly 2000 scientists from around the world in Quebec where Cochrane and Wikipedia initiated a partnership to populate Wikipedia articles with evidence from Systematic Reviews. This partnership was initiated on the Wikipedia front by Dr. James and his team of Wiki Project Med Foundation <https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wiki_Project_Med_Foundation>. The Colloquium is going to happen from 21st - 26th September this year. A Pre-colloquium Symposium 'Wikipedia and Cochrane' is planned on 21st Sept. Cochrane Collaboration has offered free entries for upto 50 Wikipedians to this session!
