We could use some help in drafting something that is appropriate to
our requirements and something that better reflects our situations.

Fedora Project, when considering venues for the FUDCon, uses
 A similar
process/flow could probably be handy to have, unless there already
exists something similar within WMF.

RfC is right method ... mail to EC is not the right method.
Make sure that this selection is open.

EC roles is also to approve the place which community has selected !!!
