Hi all,
It is with deep regret that I tell you I am leaving Wikimedia Kenya. After more
than two years being proactively involved with Wikimedia Kenya's governance, I
have decided to leave -- for personal reasons.
I therefore need some volunteers to take over 1) moderating the Wikimedia Kenya
mailing list, 2) being the Wikimedia Chapters Association liaison, and 3)
facilitating the chapter registration process. I will also forward Wikimedia
Kenya's projector, that I have, to the Board soon. To allow for an orderly
transition, I will stay on through August.
I hope to continue contributing to Wikimedia projects and Cultural Heritage
projects (such as the Kenya News Agency project) in an unaffiliated capacity.
I wish Wikimedia Kenya the best, in its future endeavors.
