We are beginning the process of working on the 1.31 release of MediaWiki.
The release is currently scheduled for June. We plan to create the REL1_31
branch on April 17 and to generate the first release candidate, so we will
be requesting "pencils down" on April 16.

The Technical Advice IRC meeting is open for all volunteer developers,
topics and questions. This can be anything from "how to get started" over
"who would be the best
It helps if vendors have some understanding of Wikimedia values and if
centralnotice administrators are not forced to perform tasks they are
not in the condition to do well.
