I have noticed that the ooui HTMLForm format is also not supporting a
form field's hide-if expressions yet.

It took a while, but most of the issues are ironed out now. OOUI still
doesn't support subsections, as that would require some refactoring of
gnarly old code. Everything else should work well enough.
