Ok, it worked!! Wine is NOT passing the --winver parameter to the child process. So what I did (I know that's not right, but I needed this working): Edit misc/version.c and changed line (193 of wine-20020411) static BOOL versionForced = FALSE; to static BOOL versionForced = TRUE; and line (194

Yes, Duane Clark pointed this out already. Apparently, the lpr that shpis with lindowsOS is incomplete for some reason. We're looking into fixing it. I just submitted the patch because I think it is more correct, and there is a possibility that other systems that have cups might not have

Here's some more info on this major regression in microsoft word, with my own trace messages added. This feature works correctly in crossover office, by the way. The crash occurs after create_whole_window and create_client_window are called, when we try to do a TSXSync.
