In short: I added '-fembed-bitcode' to wireguard-apple's Makefile and
it solved the problem.

No, providing multiple versions is not helping. Because the breakage is caused
by kernel-4.18.0-394.el8.x86_64, not wireguard-dkms-1.0.20220627-1. If you do
have the older kernel-4.18.0-383.el8.x86_64 installed, you can run the
