When you send us something that has been destroyed, its rather difficult to
repair. Some units are beyond repair, even at the manufacturer. Remember
we do not charge for unrepaired units.

Do not connect buildings with copper cable, unless they are bonded to the
same single point ground system.. This is what wireless and fiber are for.

Ezlinx.net repairs and refurbishes Motorola, Alvarion, Tranze, Trango,
Different systems. They also do not install expensive electronic devices in
those buildings at the end of the cable runs.

Alvarion's interpretation is the same as Trango's, such that IF you as
an operator have the units in your inventory, then you can put them up
without too much worry (though the FCC has not said this is okay or
I'm talking mainly about radios we pay around $350 each for brand
new at $200 for repair, we have just been piling them on a shelf...
but if we could find someone to fix them for $100, it would be worth it.
The FOX and Atlas units we just throw in the garbage. :(

Rumor has it that Trango is just waiting FCC approval for a new triband
5ghz AP (5.3ghz, 5.4ghz and 5.8ghz). It will also have more horsepower
than the current 5830, but still be backward compatible with existing
SU's. Same 10Mbps bandwidth limit however.

Be careful what you say. Yes we need cheap APs. The reason is for subscriber
relay gear (2 radios, one for subscriber, one for rebroadcast AP.)
As long as the mentality is APs are expensive, there will never be a cheap
Relay enbaled subscriber unit (which
$1500 aps sure would hurt me. I do complete relays for less then $500
as it is (legal too!)
In a few months you will be able ot roam 100% (or very close to it) my
town on my service. I would love to have 5.3/5.4 for my short hops.
Right now 2.4 does fine but I know that will not always be the
