Ther is usually a cut out area about chest level on the pole.. This is 12 feet
from the bottom of the pole. If you have 40 foot poles in the area, you can
tell how deep the telco or power company is burying them. Out her they do 11
percent +1 foot for every foot over a certain height.

And it will have a metal tag or stamped into the wood in that area something
like:
4-40
or 5-25
The first number is the class and the second is the length in feet.

What unlicensed gear would you suggest to create a 15 mile PtP link,
mostly over water (with clear LOS) that'll run at ~20 Mbits through
most weather? Very high reliability is not required, and minimum cost
