will make holes in them.

Go for it! Make holes in 'em! You'll make the sheriff, the judge, the
jury, the media (and especially) the warden very, very happy people.

And the Wireless Internet antenna is a discone. Unity gain,
omnidirectional. It looks more like a scanner antenna or multiband
close comm antenna.

Along that same line...have you ever seen pictures/video of the construction
of the Empire State Building? All those steel workers working, eating, even
running on those 8 wide girders...without any safety equipment at all.
That was 80 years ago or so.

*Just clearing up* My reply to the post was in no way political. The photos
with the Iraqi's on the tower freaked me out because they have NO safety gear
on what-so-ever. They are also only wearing tennis shoes. In my experience,
they are very uncomfortable walking on metal edges in the metal
In Michigan, since Oct06, it is quite legal to shoot someone committing
or attempting to commit a felony on my property, (owned or leased).

Then the defense lawyer states you can't prove that the victim (in this
case) was committing any felonies.
Also, what kind of felony can one do on another persons property?

All of this discussion points to the need for wide-angle megapixel CCTV
cameras (not the $30 variety, sorry) and remote recording of everthing that
happens, at at least 5 frames/second, once a motion-triggered event starts.

This is also the case in Colorado. I remember a couple years ago a guy came
to the door of a couple's home, they opened the door and the guy showed them

DOA when the cops got there. She/they weren't charged at all.
There's a difference between killing someone who shows you a weapon and
threatens your life versus someone who commits a felony on some remote
property. Hardly anyone (or any state) would deny you the ability to
use lethal force to defend your life. That's a lot different from
hunting down and
So if a drug dealer is doing a "deal" on your property (100 pounds of
cocaine), you can shoot them? I highly doubt that.

That's called self defense and has nothing to do with showing up while
a felony is being committed and being able to "open fire".

Anyone know of a place to buy a rackmount NTP server that obtains timing
from GPS?
I spent a few minutes on Google and found a couple that were $1000+.
The PCI cards can be had for about $50, antenna's are almost free -- so one
could build one, but I'd prefer an out of the box solution that
Dont know the price but this is sweet --

What a dopy comment. I haven't gathered anyone has bragged about killing
someone. We get your stance Jack, so bottle it and stop trying to get the
last word in and then suggest we all get back to work.
