Does anyone use the Rohn H50 or similar telescoping masts? I found
some while traveling so I picked up a few to keep on hand. I think
they might be a good option for those customers who need to get up
~50ft but can't afford a tower. Any suggestions on best methods for
install, or things to avoid?
How do you do your EFT (transfers directly from the subscriber's account) billing? Is everyone using authorize.net or IPPAY? Or do most WISPs take Credit Card and Debit Cards only?

We use ProPay and do EFT and Credit/Debit. EFT is cheaper so we try to
go that way.

We use a new thing that Quickbooks has called Intuit Payment Network.
But if I didn't use Quickbooks, I would hope to use one of the other
type of services. My customers have embraced being able to log on and
pay on their own. Also, it eliminates the need to call for credit card
number
You can actually use a company called Q-Checks and manually print the checks if
you want. We had a very small number of ACHs and used to do that because
Authorize.net was too expensive. Once we switched to IPPay the cost was so low
we just move all ACHs to them.

I use ACH Direct which integrates nicely with my Azotel billing system.
$0.35 per transaction and no % fee. $20 a month for the gateway/etc.

IPPAY we do it all but prefer to not do paper. Charge extra for paper. Echeck
and Credit card is what we push for.

We use Freeside that uses IPPAY to initiate the autodrafts.

I've used them. Wish they had a good factory mount. I just build whatever
I need for whatever roof it's going on to.
My math seems to suck so I've not had any luck in getting the guy wire
lengths right before pushing them up. So I try to make sure I have a person
on each guy point. They
Also check the version of anti virus/firewall the customers are using.
Check the customer routers.
Can you change IP addresses/ranges for some customers to see if the problem
goes away?
What happens if you take one of your computers to the customer site to try
the same site on your computer?
It's a long shot but check the looking glasses to make sure nobody in india
or china has started advertising your address space most tier 1s should
have filters but I've seen it slide through the cracks before and manifest
in some strange behavior

Josh,
I think that was the Friday before I left for CTIA. I'm back in now if

Are you kidding? lol. I think a system is only secure when the user
INTENTIONALLY makes it so. I do, however, believe in REAL
WISPMon and IP Pay handle this for me.
