We use a company out of northern Mississippi that has done work down in
Louisiana. They are reasonably priced. Couldn't guarantee they could make it
today. Send me your contact information offline or by phone and I can
contact them and have them give you a call. They travel all over the south.
Not when there are WISPs...

Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) said late Wednesday that it is beginning to build
a WiFi network in Austin, Texas – a move that could help it compete next year
with new market entrant Google Fiber (Nasdaq: GOOG).
In addition to offering cable modem customers free Wi-Fi, Time Warner Cable
ATT U-verse Wayport is doing a deal with San Francisco to provide free
WiFi down the main boulevard Market St.
It does not require subscription to ATT. Any guess on their reasoning?

On Thu,
Possibly some preliminary experimenting with 3g/4g data offloading. This is
going to be a big thing.
Or maybe revenue sharing with Boingo, if ATT participates with them. Wayport
may be their own aggregator.
