Re: [WISPA] Mixed Single and dual polarity?

2013-10-10 Thread Robert
Actually this will probably be Mikrotik and I'm looking at the
possibilities of upgrading what is now single pol to dual... There is
plenty of performance single, just planning on adding dual..

But much appreciation on the feedback...

Re: [WISPA] Mixed Single and dual polarity?

2013-10-10 Thread Blair Davis

It works ok as long as all are AirMax for UBNT.

The single pol units take a preformance hit.

Not a good idea if the AP is heavly loaded.

You mean in Ubnt? It's not devastating, but your 1x1 clients are eating up
twice as much time doing the same work a 2x2 radio would do. Cuts your APs
capacity in half while using the full spectrum =(

[WISPA] Moto ptp 250

2013-10-10 Thread Justin Wilson
Hey all,
I have a weird issue on a moto ptp 250 link. I have a router /29 between
two routers with two 250s providing the backhaul. I can ping the units, but
can't web into them. They don't have telnet or ssh from what I see. If I
go out and plug directly into them I can get into them just fine via IP. Is
there something I am missing? It's not firewall rules or anything.

Justin
