[WISPA] Looking for a Traveling WISP

2013-12-19 Thread Ian Framson
Hi Wisps,

I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the holidays.

I have a unique need, here goes:

I am looking for a Wisp without a "local market" - someone who is willing
to travel and negotiate/setup temporary wireless shots for us all over the
U.S. As background, my company provides IT consulting services for events,
including bandwidth procurement, temporary circuits, WiFi, and IT labor.

Anyone come to mind you can recommend?

Many thanks,

Re: [WISPA] Possible to export KML out of Tower Coverage?

2013-12-19 Thread Jim Patient
Yes,

There is now an option on the home page to order the files. It is not
automated so our engineers actually have to do the work for conversion.

When you order the files you will get 3 files for your multi-map. You
get a shape (polygon file used by marketing companies, etc.) low
resolution .kml, and a standard resolution .kml.

Hopefully, UBNT will soon be able to support at least the low resolution
.kml on the World Network system. At this time they do not have the
capability for large enough .kml or shape files to be uploaded to their
site.

Thx,
