I've seen Terabridge 5845's listed for $3000.00. That radio is a true no
bullshit 45Mbps FDX radio. We've had several in use over the years and they
are pretty awesome...1ms latency, etc, etc. They used to be $10k - $15k
radios during their prime. IMO, they are still superior to most any other
RG8 is an inferior cable to LMR400. RG8 has much less shielding and more
loss than LMR400. I would never recommend RG8 in place of LMR400.
I've always preferred making my own LMR terminations. We use the Times
Clamp/Solder type for LMR400 and Clamp/Spring type for LMR600 and

unusual.
I'd also take a look into Cameron Crum's www.wispmon.com application. Among
many, many features he has a really nice profiler built-in now. I've been a
Radio Mobile user for years, but have grown to really like the
Pretty slick, but way, way too small of a window for my dual 30 monitors!
It's like trying to read a full size fold out map in your lap through a
paper towel roll!

difference is how much we keep of that RMC as it compares to CBeyond.
CBeyond is still pumping dollars into their direct competitor (MaBell) and
operators like us that own their own network do not.
