I have a 2.4g Cisco AP and a 5.8g MT backhaul link on a FM tower at 99.5mhz. My gear is at 230' of a 300' tower. The FM array is 10 bays that is fed by 50k watts, and is only about 15' above my AP and BH links. The Cisco is basemounted and the MT radio is on the tower at 230'. No problems

Group, What type of omni does everyone like for Hotel installs? A guy that I am attempting to work with is very insistant on using 12dbi omnis. I myself lean more toward the 7dbi range for a much more balloonish pattern. What is the consensus? Jeff -- WISPA Wireless List:

I agree, this is the set that I have been using for 8 years now. Has interchangable dies for rj-11 and rj-45. Probably made 1000+ ends with no bad crimps and still a nice working tool, no slop. Altho, they cost $125, I would use none other.
