Jim- Personally, I like Nagios because you can make it monitor literally -anything-. In a previous life, we had it monitoring the server room door. If it was open for more than ~5 minutes, it "nagged" us. Then again, it all depends on how much you care. For me, these days caring doesn't hap

Ross- In the past, I've looked pretty hard at BillMax. (http://www.billmax.net) It runs on open source operating systems and database software, and if there is a major explosion you can call someone for help. It seemed to fit the bill at the time (9 years ago! Yikes!). Best of luck, -chris
