I had a customer forward me one too. Does anyone have an address where the link
goes to? Need to add that to my DNS redirects.

The static dissipators need to be taller than the antennas, and VERY well
grounded. They will provide a cone of protection around the equipment under
them. I know of a radio station building that took a hit about every year. He
installed these and has not been hit since, around 10 years. I
it and never
have problems again!!!

Here is a photo of mine, there are 3 curved ones that look like big pipe
cleaners, 1 on each leg, then the one on the top which points out 4 directions.

This doesn't seem to work well. I am served by ATT fiber from a manhole 2
feet from by building. The fiber has been here over 20 years, plus they just
made a new pull this spring. I entered my address, got back:
This address is not within 500 feet of a fiber path owned by one of the ATT

Signal is great
where we can see it, just needed a good fix for not having to do the 2 man
show all over the county. (With everyone in a pickup truck stopping to
ask
why we're by the road with an antenna)
Had a dial up customer leave us once. Asked why, he said you charge
$20/month, I can switch to another service for $19.95. Switched for a
NICKEL!!!

Victoria,
I agree with you 110%. When I first looked at what the state was proposing,
I saw that it was virtually an overlay of existing fiber routes. What will
this do to promote any last mile projects? This governor is not gaining any
points with me.
