Re: [WISPA] Australian regulatory concerns...
Hi Graham, And thanks so much! That's exactly what I was looking for! I'm sure Ill have more questions later on as things progress, so I'll make sure to hang on to your email addy and look forward to speaking with soon on this :) Oh, you're right, the link is a little clunky wrt finding one's way around, but such is the nature of bureaucracies ;) Graham Goldfinch wrote: G'day Bradley, I can help here. 5.470Ghz to 5.650Ghz many channels, 30dB EIRP max with DFS and TPC enabled, some exemptions for lower power 900Mhz is just 916 to 928Mhz allowed with 30dB max This is not quite correct, 5470-5600Mhz and 5650-5725Mhz are allowed to be used, EIRP is limited to 1W averaged over the entire transmission burst, must implement DFS, if TPC is not implemented, EIRP is limited to 500mW. The maximum radiated mean power density must not exceed 50 mW/MHz EIRP in any 1 MHz band. http://www.comlaw.gov.au/ComLaw/Legislation/LegislativeInstrumentCompilation1.nsf/framelodgmentattachments/BB0CE4867FC81688CA257543007C82C2 WISPA Wants You!
