So I have a little vent today and forgive me if it does not deal with
unlicensed (after all, nothing limits this list to UL only). I have just
read another article saying that the current WiMAX market only
encompasses 802.16d products by legacy companies like Alvarion and that
the real market does not happen until the 802.16e equipment becomes
available and then it went on to list the major TEMs expected to deliver
802.16e gear. My beef is that we have been selling 802.16e compliant
BreezeMAX WiMAX systems for over six months. There is talk, then there
is walk. A set of searches of all major suppliers, plus our smaller
competitors reveals that only Navini has any 802.16e gear to the point
where it can be certified by the FCC as authorized original equipment.
So two companies here are delivering and walking the walk, the rest is
just vapor and noise. Our list of authorized WCS and BRS/EBS band
802.16e TDD BreezeMAX is below, available via the excellent database
search at https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm.
