I am sure many of you have heard of or used the Stingers™ brand antenna used by many Canopy and Trango Fox based operators to boost gain on those radios. This patented, ingenious device has become very popular in WISP circles. WISPA is proud to announce that the maker of those antennas, WB Manufacturing, is now a Vendor Member of WISPA. From all of us in WISPA we say welcome and we want to thank you for showing your support of this industry with your membership in WISPA.

Here is some more information about WB Manufacturing:

WB Manufacturing is affiliated with the Beehive Telephone and Wireless Beehive Companies. These companies specialize in serving rural America with wire line telephone service, fiber to the home and high speed wireless internet across vast areas of Utah and Nevada. WB Manufacturing was born out of a need to increase the antenna gain for the Motorola Canopy line of products. Chuck McCown started our product line with an aftermarket reflector dish. In the quest for an easier and faster install the patented Stinger™ antennas were developed for applications not requiring the whole gain of a reflector but still needing more gain than the bare subscriber unit. From their release, Stingers™ have since become a staple in many WISP networks throughout the world. WB Manufacturing now has a complete line of reflectors, antennas and accessories. Stinger™ antennas are made for all frequencies of Motorola equipment as well as the Trango Fox radio. Additional information can be found on our website at www.wbmfg.com.
