This probably fits the bill. http://www.wlanparts.com/product/POE-INJ-LED-S/Shielded-POE-Inserter-With-Po wer-Current-LEDS.html Shielded and has a power on led and a current indicator led (to show when something is drawing current at the end of the cat5 cable run). Works to 24VDC.
