Currently we are having some horrible issues with power at our tower sites. Our current configuration is that we have tripplite smart 500VA rackmout UPS connected to deep cycle marine battery. This seems to work OK for a month or so and then kills either the battery or the UPS or both. We then

Do you need 120vac? I have a fair amount of experience with inverters, which basically is a UPS that doesn't come with a battery. I find them to be much better quality than a UPS. I would definitely use an inverter before I'd use a UPS. I realize the UPS have monitoring and remote control
