Tom: Good question. The short answer is yes, the GSA provides opportunities for small businesses to subcontract or bid on projects. Please see here: http://www.gsa.gov/Portal/gsa/ep/contentView.do?contentId=16100contentType=GSA_OVERVIEW I recall working with GSA Small Business Program while working in analog/digital signal conditioning at www.mstarlabs.com and later on power development on Native American lands with GE Power. Each time the US federal government indeed promoted opportunities for qualified small business companies. I took a company through the process and it is not as hard as people think. Each state in the United States has an Economic Development/Economic Vitality program which teams with the Federal Government. There you can find certain program. Re: [WISPA] Verizon in the Fixed Wireless business
I was aware of Verizon's work with Unlicensed Fixed Wireless to Rural areas. What was unique about the Fiber tower Press Release that I posted is that Verizon is jumping on board to deliver Licensed Fixed Wireless which likely will target High ARPU business in Urban and Suburban markets also, that technically could be in competition with its own wireline divisions.
