[WISPA] WISPA Membership Recognition
To all WISPA WISPs. ISPCON is approaching fast and it's time to give credit to those among us who deserve our recognition. The WISPA Board of Directors needs help. We need to know more about who you are and what you do that is special and makes you stand out against your competition. What we need from you is your story. Tell us in your own words what makes you special and what you do better than the next guy in your marketplace. We are not looking for the best WISP in the U.S., but rather what makes you the best WISP in your market. What are you doing that's great? Please fill in this info: 1- Your company/network name 2- Your name and your position 3- Years as a WISP/ISP 4- Your market, city, county state(s) 5- Approx amount of high speed subscribers 6- Number of employees 7- Type of offerings, (e.g. Wi-Fi hotspots, PtP, fixed wireless, fiber, DSL, VoIP, off-site backup, etc.). 8- Your story. This is where you get to tell about yourself in the most positive way you can think of, Where you tell us your the first, your the best, your accomplishments, etc. Let it all out here. There may be some information that you do not want disclosed such as the number of subscribers you have, the number of employees you have, of perhaps other private information. We will not be sharing any of this information with anyone except the committee that will be making selection, so you can trust that your information will not become public. Also, if you are uncomfortable sharing specific information with the board, you can always choose to leave out that information. We only have a couple of weeks to gather this information and choose the recipients of this year's awards. Even if you don't think you deserve an award or recognition for your work, please go ahead and send us your story, and let us make that decision. Principal Members may have other types of business interests and still meet the criteria to be a Principal Member.
