This is exactly what we did as well with Ticketmaster. I just have to remember

architecture and I don't use a 40MHz channel-width on our 2.4GHZ radios so it's
not affecting us as far as I can tell And these areas are NOT dense

I agree with Jim...I think you can do it, it's just more work and more
a device hogging two
or three other IP addresses on subnets that it's not currently using.
On a college campus with students that roam all over and have iPhones,
this situation isn't out of the realm of the possible.
