I have a question that I hope someone can help me with.
In the hope of saving money, my boss wants me to look at a cheaper alternative
to the 3702i in areas that might not need a top of the line Access Point. In my
comparison, I find the Aironet 2702i to have similar specs minus the 4x4 radio.
I also use Cattools and get a nightly report of changes that happened that day.
Very useful and easy to setup. Cattools also backs up my configs in nice
structured folders.
The biggest thing about Cattools, it runs on Windows platform for us linux
challenged folks.

I also upgraded to 8.0.110.0 about a month ago and have had zero issues. I'm
running 5508 WLC's with a mixture of 1142, 3502, 3602 and 3702 access points.
About 600 AP's total.

With the advance in Cisco's new Multigigabit technology you can use existing
CAT5e\CAT6 cables and run speeds 5GB/10GB respectively over copper. No need to
run multiple cables to your Access Points. I saw a presentation by Cisco where
the new 3850's coming out this year will already support
Sorry to bring up an old thread but I have some current questions as I'm tasked
with deploying wireless to cover some outdoor space. I've been considering the
1532i as well but after looking at the Cisco data sheet I noticed it is the
only Outdoor model that doesn't support Client Link or Clean
