We have been running 8.0.100.0 across 5 WLC 5508's for all of our undergrad
Resnet buildings
(mix of AP702W's, AP3602's) since 2014 September. The rate of user complaints
about
WLAN service in Resnet has been low.

Sort of reminds me of the Mission Impossible opening theme. How long will you
all let that fuse burn before you pull the trigger?

Dexter,
Shame to hear you had those issues. We have been running 8.0.100 without
issue since basically it became available. No random reboots or anything along
those lines. My opinion the matter
Supposedly MR1 out “mid-December” as recommended stability code (is what I’ve
been told). Is our plan to go to it.

We just upgraded to 7.6.130 and has been stable. We are planning to wait a
little longer before we consider moving to 8.0. Not sure we will venture to
deploy it for the Spring semester.

Hello,
Last month, I have moved 7.0.43.32 to 8.0.100.0. I had some challenges
with iOS devices only (iPhones and iPads). The splash page wound not
automatically prompted for authentication once you choose the wireless
SSID. I found that I have to apply the command config network web-auth

We’re running 7.6.130.0 in HA in non-VSS 6503 Sup-720/3C chassis, and have come
