As I understand it, the advantage platform was supposed to be software upgradeable to 802.16d. However, since that time Motorola has decided that 802.16d is a waste of time and is focusing on building pre802.16e products. I don't think advantage will be upgradeable to 802.16e, but I haven't

I retract my previous statement, due to several things on the P15 side of the fence that appear to be ugly. I don't believe P15 is doing this without self promotion in mind. This is an effort that needs to be thankless, and in THAT fact, it will come out that a wireless organization stepped
