I have to agree. I've got a Canopy system running a horizontal omni with a noise floor of -63dB at the AP. Longest links are 30+ miles, average length is around 20. This is a mobile setup, longest link on it has been at 57.6 miles, stable enough to run vpn over it. The Canopy Last Mile

If anyone needs backup DNS/MX/etc just send us a box to put in our colo. We have GigE connections to Level3, Global Crossing, Savvis, Telia, BTN, and Cogent. As long as you don't abuse the connection you can have it for free. But, we won't manage your box and we need it to be rack mount.
